Vibrating Screen
The High-Capacity Precision Specialist for Accurate Particle Size Separation
The Vibrating Screen is a high-efficiency screening machine that uses rapid, multi-directional vibrations to separate and classify granular materials by size. Through its vibrating motion and layered screen decks, it ensures precise sizing of dry or slightly moist fertilizer granules, producing multiple, tightly-specified product fractions essential for quality control and market readiness.
Key Features
-
High-Frequency Vibration
Generated by one or multiple vibrating motors or exciters, creating a rapid sifting action that ensures efficient material stratification and passage through screen apertures.
-
Multi-Deck Design
Features two to four screen decks stacked vertically, allowing for the simultaneous separation of oversize, multiple product fractions, and fines in a single machine.
-
Adjustable Vibration Parameters
Amplitude and vibration frequency can often be adjusted to optimize screening efficiency for different materials and moisture levels.
-
Anti-Blinding Devices
Options include rubber ball trays beneath the screens or ultrasonic cleaning systems to keep apertures clear and prevent clogging, especially with slightly damp materials.
-
Fully Enclosed Design
Minimizes dust emission during operation, ensuring a cleaner work environment and protecting product integrity.

Versatile Sizing Capabilities
Produces up to four distinct product streams (e.g., oversize, two on-spec sizes, and fines) from a single feed, maximizing process flexibility and yield.
-
Durable & Low Maintenance
Simple, robust construction with few moving parts (excluding vibrating motors) leads to reliable operation with minimal downtime.
-
Quick Screen Deck Change
Designed for easy replacement of screen meshes or panels, facilitating fast product changeovers and maintenance.
Applicable Raw Materials
-
Dry to Slightly Moist Fertilizer Granules
NPK compounds, urea, ammonium sulfate, DAP/MAP.
-
Potassium Salts (MOP/SOP)
In granular form.
-
Organic & Mineral-Based Fertilizer Pellets
Once properly dried.
-
Reclaimed/Recycled Fines
For separating reusable granules from dust.
Basic Structure & Components
The main body housing the screen decks, constructed from robust carbon or stainless steel.
Layered screens with precisely sized apertures (woven wire, polyurethane, or rubber) where separation occurs.
One or two unbalanced-weight vibrating motors or a dual-shaft mechanical exciter mounted on the screen box.
Helical springs or rubber mounts that isolate the vibrating frame from the stationary base, allowing free vibration.
Powers the vibration generator.
Evenly distributes incoming material across the full width of the top screen.
Separate outlets for each product fraction (oversize, product(s), fines).
A sealed hood covering the entire screen box.
A sturdy, static frame supporting the entire vibrating assembly via springs.

Key Differentiators vs. Other Screeners
- vs. Rotary Sieve (Trommel)
- vs. Static Grizzly or Sieve
- vs. Linear vs. Circular Motion Screens
- Overall Position
Offers higher precision and separation sharpness for dry materials due to its vibrating action, which is more effective than the tumbling action of a trommel. It has a much smaller footprint for the same capacity but can be more susceptible to blinding with very sticky or moist materials compared to a rotary sieve.
Provides significantly higher throughput and self-cleaning action. A vibrating screen actively moves material across and through the screen, while a static sieve relies solely on gravity, leading to lower capacity and rapid clogging.
This general category (Vibrating Screen) encompasses both. Linear motion screens are excellent for dewatering or precise sizing of fine materials, while circular motion screens are ideal for high-capacity sizing of granules. Our designs are optimized for fertilizer granule characteristics.
It is the preferred technology for high-volume, precise sizing of free-flowing fertilizer granules where product specification compliance, capacity, and space efficiency are critical.
